Progressions of Classical Ballet Technique

This book is a companion volume and sequel to The Foundations of Classical Ballet published by the Royal Academy of Dance. It should be used in conjunction with the Foundations text and assumes a thorough theoretical and practical understanding of its contents.

This includes knowledge of the elements that underpin ballet technique (e.g. posture, placement, alignment), as well as basic vocabulary (positions of the feet and arms, poses of the body, etc.).

It is geared at a more advanced level of training and focuses on concepts and vocabulary relevant to dance training beyond the elementary level.
